Exploring the history of the United States Civil War
Welcome to the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Round Table! 
Based in the Harrisonburg, Virginia area, this organization provides programs on the United States Civil War history, covering the events and people of that era. We welcome all interested in learning and discussing any aspect of Civil War history.
Meetings are bimonthly on the 2nd Monday, 7:30pm-9pm, of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Please feel free to bring a friend.
The location is 3935 Sunnyside Drive, Harrisonburg, Va., which is the Sunnyside Room in the Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community. When you enter the Community, let the person at the guard house know you are coming for the Round Table. There is plenty of free Parking.

Past Events at the Round Table
MISSION STATEMENT
The Shenandoah Valley Civil War Round table (SVCWRT) is a common interest group that meets bi-monthly in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The primary goals of the SVCWRT are to 1) serve as a forum for the dissemination of information on, and 2) discuss all aspects of the American Civil War of 1861-1865. Attendance at the meetings is open to all persons. The organization is not affiliated with or controlled by any other group or organization. All time and effort required to plan the meetings, obtain speakers, keep records of dues and compose and disseminate the newsletter are carried out by a volunteer Board of Directors.
